New Croton Dam — HAER Color Transparency (View 3)

Color transparency from the HAER survey of the New Croton Dam and surrounding landscape. The dam was built by thousands of Italian immigrant workers between 1892 and 1906, many of whom settled in the 'Little Italy' neighborhood at Croton Landing.
