THE NEW CROTON DAM: Engineering marvel constructed 1892-1906, "the tallest dam in the world" at that time. THE BOWERY: Buildings along the Croton River housing Italian stone workers during dam construction. MAPLE AVENUE (1915): Dirt road at the intersection with Old Post Road South. ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: Built 1875, dedicated 1883. High Victorian Gothic architecture. OLD POST ROAD INN: 1700s stagecoach stop on the historic route, now site of Cornelia Cotton Gallery. ST. AUGUSTINE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: Constructed 1857, corner of Grand Street and Old Post Road South. CROTON UNION SCHOOL: Built 1909, later became Municipal Building with grand staircase entrance. VAN WYCK AVENUE (1916): Panorama of residential properties. RIVERSIDE AVENUE (c. 1925): Looking north, the waterfront business district. CROTON TRAIN STATION (c. 1900): Brick Romanesque structure, now F.A. Burchetta Co. office. CROTON'S WATERFRONT (1907-1914): Likely Osborn Boat Works scene. POINT PLEASANT PARK (c. 1915): Former Robert Underhill residence on Croton Point.
